Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) going to conduct IES/ ISS Examination 2022. The IES/ ISS Exam Syllabus, Eligibility Criteria, Fees can be read from official exam notification. Eligible candidates may apply online for Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2022 at UPSC official website https//www.upsconline.nic.in from 6th April 2021.

Eligibility Criteria of UPSC IES/ ISS Examination:
Educational Qualification:
(i) For IES: A candidate for the Indian Economic Service must have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics.
(ii) For ISS: A candidate for the Indian Statistical Service must have obtained a Bachelor's Degree with Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master's degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics.
Physical Standards:
Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standard for admission to Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2021 as per Regulations given in Appendix III of the rules for the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2021 published in Gazette of India dated 07th April, 2021.
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2022 i.e he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1992 and not later than 1st August, 2001.
The upper age-limit prescribed above will be relaxable as follows :—
(i) SC/ST: 5 years
(ii) OBC: 3 years
(iii) PWD: 10 years
UPSC IES/ ISS Exam Fees 2022:
• For Female/ SC/ ST/ PwBD: Nil
• For Others: Rs. 200/-
Payment Mode: Any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card or by using Internet Banking of SBI.

How to Apply for UPSC IES/ ISS Examination 2022:
Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website https//www.upsconline.nic.in.
Candidate should have details of one Photo ID Card viz. Aadhaar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/ Central Government.
The details of this Photo ID Card will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form. The candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of the Photo ID whose details have been provided in the online application by him/ her. This Photo ID Card will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this Photo ID Card while appearing for Examination/ Personality Test.
