Eligibility Criteria of AEGCL Recruitment

PRC: The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/Voter ID/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency with the application.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates having adequate knowledge in communicating in Assamese and/or local language will be preferred. (Knowledge of local language to be tested at the time of interview). 

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2024.

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

• SC/STP/STH — 5 years

• OBC/MOBC — 3 years

• PwBD — 10 years

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent in B.Com in aggregate or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com) or minimum 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent for Arts or Science graduate having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subject or 55% marks or its equivalent in Mathematics Statistics as Honors (BA/B.Sc).

• For departmental candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe minimum qualification marks in a bachelor degree is 50%.

Name of Post: Individual Consultant (for Environmental and Social Safeguard)

Qualifications/ Experience/ Expertise:

1. The Expert shall have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Management/ Social science / Social Welfare / Social Management or similar field with minimum 10 years of total experience and minimum of 5 years’ experience overseeing Energy Infrastructure projects preferably transmission project of voltage level 132KV and above in relevant field. He/she must have experience of working at least in two EAP funded projects the duration of which shall be at least one year for each project. 

2. Experience in implementing and monitoring Gender policy, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and to prepare ESMPF, ESMP, Resettlement Action Plan, establishment of Grievance Redressal Mechanism(GRM) and addressing the grievences, Preparation of Indigenous People Planning Framework (IPPF), Stakeholder and Public Consultation etc in line with the policy and frame work of

International Funding Institutions.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language are must;

4. Excellent ability to initiate collaboration across divisions and work effectively and constructively with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.

5. Experience in stakeholder engagement and working on inter-institutional programs.
