UPSC-National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination - II

UPSC going to conduct National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) Examination - II for the year 2018. Online applications are hereby invited from candidates who fulfill all the eligibility criteria, and who are interested in 339 posts for NDA and 44 posts for NA.


1. National Defence Academy (NDA)
Total Post: 339 [Army-208, Navy-39, Air force-92]
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass (10+2 pattern) from state education board/University.


2. Naval Academy (NA)
Total Post: 44
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass (10+2 pattern) or equivalent with Physics & Mathematics from state education board/University.


Age Limit: Not earlier than 02.01.2000 & not later than 01.01.2003.
Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates can apply.


Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- (not refundable) as application fees. (SC/ST/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ ORs candidates are exempted from the fees)


 Fees Payment Mode:
  • Applicants can deposit the money in any SBI branch by cash, OR
  • By SBI net banking, OR
  • By using Visa/MasterCard/Rupay Credit/Debit Card.

Selection Procedure: Selection process is based on Two-stages:
  1. Written Examination: The 2 Subjects for written examinations are Mathematics & General Ability Test. All questions will be objective type only. Total marks for the written examination is 900 (300 marks for Mathematics and 600 marks for General Ability Test).
  2. Interview: Only candidates who qualified in written examination will be called for Interview.

  • Examination Date: 09.09.2018
  • Result declaration: December 2018
