Citizenship: Candidates must be citizen of India within meaning of Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.

Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: The candidate must produce Registration Certificate of Employment Exchange in the State of Assam along with the application form.

Educational Qualification: The candidate should be VIII passed from any recognized Institutes.

Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)obtained from any recognized institution, provided the person if so appointed as teacher will have to mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE within two years of such appointment as primary teacher.


Relaxation: 

Following relaxation will be applicable:

a) Relaxation up to 5 % in the academic marks in HSSLC or Graduation shall be applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD(PH) to appear in TET (The degree of handicap in case of PH candidates should be minimum 40% and to be certified by the competent authority).

b) Relaxation up to 5 % in HSSLC marks shail be applicable for candidates who were admitted in 2-Year D.El.Ed before 31/08/2009 and qualified 2-Year D.El.Ed subsequently.


Exam Pattern and Syllabus of Special TET Assam 2021:




• The test will be only for Paper-I (Lower Primary).
• Candidate has to choose one Language as Language 1 from the languages mentioned below: Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, Manipuri, Garo, Nepali, Karbi, Hmar.
• There will be no negative marking.
• Medium of question paper: Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, English.


Minimum Marks for qualifying in Special TET Assam:

A candidate is required to score at least 60% i.e. 90 marks out of 150 to qualify the Teachers’ Eligibility Test(TET). However, for SC/ST (Hills)/ST(Plain)OBC/MOBC/PWD (PH), there will be relaxation of 5 %. Thus, for these candidates, qualifying score will be 55% i.e. 83 out of 150.


Examination Fee of SSA Assam Special TET:

• General Candidates: Rs.500/-
• SC/ ST/ OBC/MOBC/ PwD Candidates: Rs.300/-


How to Apply for SSA Assam Special TET:

Interested and eligible candidates may submit their application through online mode by visiting https://ssa.assam.gov.in or https://sebaonline.org from 20th January 2021 onwards. Follow the below given steps at the time of apply online:

  • Click the link "online application tor Special TET".
  • Download Instruction Manual.
  • Read carefully the Instruction Manual on how to submit the online application form.
  • Fill up Online application form, Upload Passport size colour Photo. Signature. Professional Qualification mark sheet, Admission slip of ongoing professional course ( in case of candidates pursuing D.EI.Ed) of recommended size (as mentioned in Instruction Manual) and submit the online application.
  • The candidate has to pay the fee through online banking/credit card/ debit card etc.
  • He/she can take print out of the Online Application form.

DEE Assam LP UP Provisional Merit List 2020 - (3rd Provisional Merit List)

DEE Assam released a notification for DEE Provisional Merit List for LP UP Teacher 2020 and Final District Selection. Candidates who have applied against 9882 posts of Assistant Teacher (LP and UP) and Hindi Teacher can check/ download District-wise DEE LP UP Merit List 2020 from DEE official website i.e. dee.assam.gov.in or from here. Candidates are asked to select their option for a district and a post.

Instruction of DEE Assam LP UP Teacher Merit List & District Selection 2020:

1. The enlisted candidates of the 3rd Provisional Merit List must select one of the Districts and one of the Posts if their names are published in Provisional Merit Lists for more than one district, separately for LPS and UPS within 12 hours from the time of publication of the Provisional Merit List.

2. The options submitted by the candidates against the 2nd Provisional Merit List are hereby nullified, in order to incorporate the outcome after due examination of the genuine grievances received online, physical document verification and back-office verification. Therefore, all the enlisted candidates require to submit their option for District, separately for LPS and UPS within 12 hours from the time of publication of the Provisional Merit List.

3. Only those candidates who are kept withheld are directed to attend the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam on 18/01/2021 from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM only along-with all their original relevant documents with a photocopy set.

4. Sudden drop in cut-off marks in any list is due to fulfilling of the existing reservation guidelines.

5. It is to be noted that this is a Provisional Merit List only, published to accept selection of District, and grievances (grievance.prov.one.2020@gmail.com), if any, from the candidates. The candidate must specify their Application ID and district during submission of their grievances.

a. The candidates must send their grievances from their own email ID only.

b. While submitting grievances in mail the following pattern should be followed:

i. Subject: Grievance in respect of 3rd Provisional Merit List
ii. Name of Candidate
iii. TET Roll No
iv. Application ID
v. Specific grievance in short
vi. The grievance shall be written in the body of the mail only. No attached complaints will be entertained.

c. Grievance once submitted must not be repeated.

d. Complaints submitted against others shall have to be along-with sufficient documentary evidence and name and details of the complainant.

e. Anonymous complaints will not be entertained.

6. The candidates who have submitted their grievances already need not submit again as most of the grievances have already been attended and the remaining grievances are being checked for its genuineness.

7. Any claim for appointment to the post of Teacher on the basis of appearance of name in any Provisional Merit Lists will NOT be entertained.

8. No offline grievances will be accepted.

9. Appointment letters will be issued only to the candidates whose names appear in the Final Select List.
