APSC Recruitment 2025 Notification

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 7 posts of Inspector of Schools / District Elementary Education Officer / Deputy Director vacancies under Assam Education Service. Candidates can apply online by visiting the APSC Recruitment Portal at apsc.nic.in.

APSC Recruitment Details

Name of Post: Inspector of Schools / District Elementary Education Officer / Deputy Director

No of Posts: 7 posts

Name of Department/ Service: Assam Education Service

Scale of Pay: Pay scale: Rs 30000 to 110000, Grade Pay: Rs 14500

 

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2025.

Educational Qualification: Second Class Master Degree having uniformly brilliant career with B.T/B.Ed degree from NCTE recognized institution with:

a) Possessing Teaching experience in schools and colleges for 10 (ten) years or

b) Administrative experience for 10 (ten) years of which 5 (five) years must be teaching

Other Criteria of APSC Recruitment

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.

(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years

(iii) For Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.

Domicile: 

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

(ii) The Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a proof of residency along with the application form

Or

(iii) The candidate must produce Employment Exchange Registration certificate in the state of Assam along with the application form .
