APSC Recruitment 2025 - Grade IV Notification

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 20 posts of  Grade IV vacancies under the establishment of Assam Public Service Commission. Candidates can apply online by visiting the APSC Recruitment Portal at apsc.nic.in.

Name of Post: Grade IV

No of Posts: 20 posts

 

Category-wise vacancy: 

 

• UR/OC: 10

• OBC/ MOBC: 5

• Tea Tribe & Adivasi Community: 1

• SC: 2

• STP: 1

• STH: 1

Scale of Pay: Pay Band 1 with Pay Scale: Rs 12000 to 52000, Grade Pay: Rs 3900

 

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2025.

 

Educational Qualification: The educational qualification shall be minimum Class VIII passed and maximum HSSLC/ Class 12 or equivalent examination passed. Candidates with higher educational qualification are not eligible to apply.

Other Criteria of APSC Recruitment

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.

(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years

(iii) For Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.

Domicile: 

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

(ii) The Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a proof of residency along with the application form

Or

(iii) The candidate must produce Employment Exchange Registration certificate in the state of Assam along with the application form .

 

Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.

Applicants who have not registered yet, in the Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC’s recruitment website https://apscrecruitment.in and register themselves by clicking on ‘Register Here’ link and complete the user registration process by providing basic details. 

Documents Size: Educational Qualification, Work Experience, Photo (Min size-50 KB & Max size-200 KB and not older than 3 months) & Signature (Min size-50 KB & Max size-200 KB).
