1. Forester - I

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised institution or equivalent.
2. Forest Guard
No of Posts: 110 posts
Scale of pay: P.B-2 ₹14,000 – ₹49,000 and GP: ₹5,600
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be minimum HS / 10+2 exam passed or equivalent.
• OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
• SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years
Medical Standards:
a) Candidates must not have squint eyes and should possess high colour vision.
b) The distant vision should be at least 6/6 for one eye and not poorer than 6/9 for the other without correction. Near vision should be normal for both these posts.
Other Criteria of BTC Kokrajhar Recruitment
Employment Exchange Registration: Applicants must be registered with any of the Employment Exchange of the state of Assam.
Residence-ship: Candidates must be resident of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) area. Candidates belonging to newly added 60 villages from Biswanath and Sonitpur districts under BTC’s Udalguri District under BTC area are also eligible to apply for above mentioned posts.
Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2026.

BTC Kokrajhar Selection Process
The three (3) stages of selection process for recruitment of BTC Forester & Forest Guard are as follows:
➢ Physical Test: The physical test comprises of 26 KM walking for male and 16 KM walking for female candidates to be completed within 4 hours. This will be followed by a medical examination.
➢ Written Examination: A 100 marks test of multiple choice answers with 3 hours duration will held with no negative marking.
➢ Viva-Voce: All qualified candidates in the written examination will have to appear for a viva-voce test of 20 marks.

Payment Mode: only through online mode (UPI, Credit/ Debit card or Net Banking) only.
How to Apply for BTC Kokrajhar Recruitment
(a) Candidates can apply through online mode only.
(b) The interested candidates may submit application online in official website of CSB, BTC by visiting www.centralselectionboard.com w.e.f. 23rd February 2026 to 15th March 2026 (upto 12.00 mid-night). All the Educational documents, certificates and ID proofs are required to be uploaded online at the time of submitting online application in PDF format only not exceeding maximum size of 1MB. Hence, it is advised to keep the scanned documents ready in softcopy form before applying online.
(c) Candidates are required to verify their Mobile No. and e-mail ID with OTP for submission of online application process.
(d) The date and venue of written exam & oral Interview will be notified through the official website of Central Selection Board, BTC.
(e) Candidates may download their admit cards from the official website.
The candidates must upload the following documents/testimonials during online application process:
(a) All certificates/mark sheets in support of educational qualifications.
(b) Age proof certificate.
(c) A permanent BTR residential certificate belonging to General category candidates from VCDC/Municipality as applicable and in case of ST/SC/OBC/MOBC, Caste Certificate need to be uploaded.
(d) The candidates belonging to newly added 60 Nos. of villages from Biswanath and Sonitpur districts to Udalguri district under BTR will have to upload any one of Aadhaar Card/Voter ID Card/Caste Certificate.
(e) A recent passport size photograph (size: 20KB to 100KB) and signature (size: 10KB to 50KB) in .jpg/.jpeg format are required to upload by the candidates at time of submission of online application.
