Assam Public Service Commission invited application from eligible candidates for a competitive examination for filling up 34 (thirty-four) posts in Class-I, Grade III cadre of Assam Finance Service including reserved category posts.
Name of Service: Assam Finance Service (in the cadre of Finance & Accounts Officer/ Treasury Officer) Class-I, Grade III
Total Post: 34 [OC-30, OBC/MOBC-1, SC-1, ST(P)-1, ST(H)-1]
Qualification: Candidates must possess a degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Science from a state govt recognized university.
Pay Scale: PB-4, Rs. 30,000-1,10,000/-, Grade Pay- 12,700/-
Age: 21-years to 38-years as on 01.01.2018.
Relaxation of Age:
- SC/ST: 5-years, i.e up to 43-years
- OBC/MOBC: 3-years, i.e. up to 41-years
- PWD: 10-years, i.e. up to 48 years
Application Fee: Original Treasury receipt for Rs. 250/- for Unreserved Category and Rs. 150/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC. The fee is NIL for BPL/PWD candidates.
The Examination will consist of the following subjects:

Candidates are advised to download the prescribed application form from official website www.apsc.nic.in and superscripted 'Assam Finance Service Examination, 2018' on top of the envelope of application and send to Secretary, APSC, Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Ghy-22. Candidates must bring an identity proof in the examination hall. The examination date, time and the centers of the examination will be notified in due course.
