Walk In Interview

An advertisement released by ASTEC to conduct a Walk-in-interview for appointing Project Engineer, Curator, Project Assistant and Project Scientist. Therefore, applicants are invited who are the citizen of Indian and who fulfill all the eligibility criteria which are essential for those posts for temporary engagement in the project as indicated against the respective designations. The interview will be conducted on 13, 16 and 17 July 2018. There are total 4 vacant posts and the appointment will be a purely contractual basis for a duration of 11 months.
1. Project Engineer
Total Post: 01
Project Name: Science City, Guwahati.
Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 30,800/- PM plus CPF.
Period of Engagement: 11 Months
Qualification: First Class in BE/BTech in Civil Engineering from Govt recognized institute/university.
2. Curator
Total Post: 01
Project Name: Science City, Guwahati.
Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 30,800/- PM plus CPF.
Period of Engagement: 11 Months
Qualification: First Class M.Sc. degree in Botany/Physics/Chemistry/zoology from Govt recognized institute/university.
3. Project Assistant (Office cum Accounts)
Total Post: 01
Project Name: Science City, Guwahati.
Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 17,600/- PM plus CPF.
Period of Engagement: 11 Months
Qualification: B.Com degree with Major in Accountancy (minimum 50% marks required). Working knowledge of Tally is must be essential.
4. Project Scientist
Total Post: 01
Project Name: Climate Cell.
Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- PM plus CPF.
Period of Engagement: 11 Months
Qualification: First Class in M.Sc in Environmental Science from Govt recognized institute/university.
Candidates should note that:
- For the post Project Engineer, they may provide supporting documents in support of their candidature at the time of interview if they have practical experience in civil construction.
- For the post Curator, they may provide supporting documents in support of their candidature at the time of interview if they have experience in Science Communication work.

- For Project Engineer: 13.07.2018 at 10 AM (Venue: Regional Science Centre, khanapara, Guwahati)
- For Curator: 13.07.2018 at 12.30 PM (Venue: Regional Science Centre, khanapara, Guwahati)
- For Project Assistant: 16.07.2018 at 10 AM (Venue: Regional Science Centre, khanapara, Guwahati)
- For Project Scientist: 17.07.2018 at 10 AM (Venue: Bigya Bhawan, GS Road, Guwahati-781005)
Candidates who are interested should come with duly filled Standard Form giving details including mobile number, Email etc with xerox copies of all self-attested documents as per the date, time and venue mentioned in this notification. Candidates are also advised to bring original documents which are verified during the registration. Registration will be closed at 11 AM for the posts Project Engineer, Project Assistant, Project Scientist and for Curator it will be closed at 1.30 PM.
