Staff Selection Commission going to hold an open examination for the recruitment of a large number of constable posts. The recruitment will be consists of four stages i.e. Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination.

Age limit as on 18-years:23-years.

Qualification as on 01.08.2018: Candidates must be passed HSLC/Class 10th (matriculation) from recognized Board.
Application Fees: Candidates must have to pay Rs. 100/- through SBI challan or by using Visa/Mastercard or Maestro Credit or Debit Card or by net banking. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of fees.
Scheme of Examination:
A. Computer Based Examination: The CBE consists of 100 objective type questions of the following four subjects carrying 100 marks. Duration of Examination will be 90 minutes:
- General Intelligence & Reasoning
- General Knowledge & General Awareness
- Elementary Mathematics
- English/Hindi
B. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Race: Male- 5 Kms in 24 minutes. Female- 1.6 Kms in 8 -1/2 minutes.
C. Physical Standard Test (PST): Heigh (in cms) of the candidates should as shown below.
General, SC & OBC candidates: Male- 170 cms; Female- 157 cms.
ST candidates: Male- 162.5 cms; Female- 150 cms.
D. Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify in PET & PST will be called for Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
