Notification published Indian Air Force for the year 2018, which offers opportunities for Unmarried Male Indian/ Nepalese Citizens from states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Meghalaya, and Manipur to join as Airmen. Candidates are invited for recruitment test for Group 'Y' (Non-Technical), Automobile Technician and Indian Air Force (Police) which will be held at Air Force Station Borjhar, Guwahati, Assam as per the programme is given below.


The Test for recruitment will be conducted from 6 AM onwards. Candidates (from States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Meghalaya and Manipur) fulfilling the domicile requirements and eligibility conditions reporting up to 10 AM on 01 Sep 2018 and 03 Sep 2018 at Air Force Station Borjhar, Guwahati (Rally Venue) shall only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.



1. Trade: Auto Tech & IAF (P)
Activities: 

  1. Physical Fitness Test
  2. Written Test, Adaptability Test-1 & Adaptability Test-2
Date: 01 Sep 2018 and 02 Sep 2018
District to be covered: All districts of States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Meghalaya.



2. Trade: Auto Tech & IAF (P)

Activities: 

  1. Physical Fitness Test
  2. Written Test, Adaptability Test-1 & Adaptability Test-2
Date: 03 Sep 2018 and 04 Sep 2018
District to be covered: All districts of State of Manipur.



Date of Birth: Born between 14.07.1998 and 26.06.2002 (inclusive both days).

Educational Qualification: Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent in any stream/ subjects securing minimum 50% marks in english.



Medical Standards:
  • Chest: Minimum range of expansion 5cm.
  • Corneal Surgery (PRK/ LASIK): Not acceptable.
  • Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age.
  • Hearing: should Normal.
  • Dental: Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and a minimum of 14 dental points.
  • Health: Candidates should be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages.

Pay & Allowances: Rs. 14600/- during training as a stipend. Rs. 26900/- per month with Dearness allowance after the completion of training.
