Assam Public Works Department published notification for the engagement of 463 nos. of posts of Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer. Candidates who are eligible for those posts may apply online w.e.f 24.08.2018 to midnight of 07.09.2018. The engagement will be purely on ad-hoc basis for a period of 4-months. To become eligible for regular appointment a candidate must qualify himself in the regular recruitment test as and when held.


1. Name of the Post: Assistant Engineer.
Total Vacancy: 156

Pay Scale: PB-4,  Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/-, Grade Pay- Rs. 12,700/-


2. Name of the Post: Junior Engineer.
Total Vacancy: 307

Pay Scale: PB-2,  Rs. 49,000/- to 1,10,000/-, Grade Pay- Rs. 8,700/-
