Applications are invited on plain paper for the following temporary post on contractual basis in the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Taskforce project at Regional Reference Laboratory (RRL), Department of Bioengineering and Technology, GUIST, Gauhati University under the Principal Investigator of Dr. Subhash Medhi.
1. Research Scientist - B
Total Post: 01 (UR)
Age Limit as on 30.09.2018: Up to 35 years.
2. Lab Technician
Total Post: 01 (UR)
Age Limit as on 30.09.2018: Up to 30 years.
Pay Matrix for Research Scientist - B: Rs. 48,000 per month (consolidated) with 6300 HRA as per ICMR rules (corresponding to PB-3 Rs. 15,600 - 39,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/-)
Pay Matrix Lab Technician: Rs. 18,000 per month. (corresponding to pay band- 1 Rs. 5,200 - 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,800/-)
Qualification for Research Scientist - B:
1st Class Master Degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with up to two years' research/ teaching experience in the relevant field. OR 2nd Class M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with Ph.D. in relevant subjects.
Qualification for Laboratory Technician:
12th Pass in Science subject with 2 years diploma in DMLT. OR 12th Pass in Science subject with 1 years diploma in DMLT + 1 years' experience in a recognized Institution/ Organization. OR 12th Pass in Science subject with 2 years Medical Laboratory experience.
Note:
The candidates who fulfill the required qualifications and experience will be invited to attend the Interview at Department of Bioengineering and Technology, Gauhati University, Guwahati on a later date.
