Applications are invited in Standard Form from willing candidates who are eligible for the following vacancies in the office of the Resident Commissioner, Govt. of Assam, Assam Bhawan, No 1 Sardar Patel Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
1. Name of the post: Chowkidar
Total Vacancy: 01 (UR)
Qualification: Minimum Class VI Passed.
Scale of Pay: PB-1, Rs. 12000-37500/- + GP- Rs. 3900/- per month plus other allowances admissible as per rules issued from time to time.
2. Name of the post: Room Bearer
Total Vacancy: 04 [UR-2, OBC/MOBC-1, SC-1]
Qualification: Minimum Class VI Passed.
Scale of Pay: PB-1, Rs. 12000-37500/- + GP- Rs. 3900/- per month plus other allowances admissible as per rules issued from time to time.
Age Limit as on 01.01.2018: 18 years - 44 years. Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST and 3 years for OBC/ MOBC/ PWD candidates.
The application for the posts of Chowkidar and Room Bearers whose application is found in order will be called for interview/ Viva-voce and the venue of the interview/ Viva-voce will be notified later on. Candidates are required to bring original documents for verification at the time of interview.
The application with self-attested photocopies of all certificates of Academic Qualification, Age, Caste and 3 copies of self-attested recent passport size photograph, a self-addressed envelope affixing Postal Stamp of Rs. 5/- must be addressed to the office of the Resident Commissioner, Govt. of Assam, Assam Bhawan, No 1 Sardar Patel Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi- 110021.
