Applications are invited by the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Odisha Region, Bhubaneswar from meritorious sports persons who fulfill the required qualifications for appointment to the following 15 nos. of posts under sports quota.


1. Inspector of Income Tax

Total Post: 03

Qualifications: Degree of a recognized university or its equivalent.

Age: Not more than 30-years



2. Tax Assistant

Total Post: 07

Qualifications: Degree of a recognized university or its equivalent. Having Data Entry speed of 8000 key Depressions per hour.

Age: 18-years - 27-years



3. Stenographer Grade II

Total Post: 01

Qualifications: 
12th class pass or equivalent. 
Skill test- 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
Transcription- 50 words per minute (English) or 65 words per minute (Hindi) only on computer.

Age: 18-years - 27-years



4. Multi-Tasking Staff

Total Post: 04

Qualifications: Matriculation or its equivalent pass.

Age: 18-years - 25-years



Sports Eligibility:
The appointment can be made amongst sportspersons considered meritorious with reference to the following criteria:
  • International Tournaments/ Events like Olympics & World Championship.
  • International Tournaments/ Events of regional importance like Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games/ Afro Asian Games.
  • Other International Tournaments/ Events like SAF Games.
  • Domestic Tournaments/ Events of National Level of seniors like National Games, National Federation Games etc.
  • Domestic Tournaments/ Events of the National level of Juniors.
  • Inter-University Tournaments.
  • National School Games.
  • National Physical efficiency/ drive certificate holders.
The best of three performance in the calendar years 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015 will be considered for evaluation.
