Assam Agriculture University, Jorhat

Intending and eligible candidates are invited to appear a walk-in-interview which will be conducted in the office chamber of the Distributed Information Centre, Department of Agriculture Biotechnology AAU, Jorhat-13 for the following positions.
1. Research Associate
Qualification:
Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, OR,
M.Sc. in Agriculture/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology or any branch of Biology/ Life Science with a minimum of 3 years experience in Bioinformatics related research as evident by publication in the relevant field.
Emoluments per month: Rs. 36,000/- + HRA
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Qualification:
Master Degree in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application with minimum 2-years experience.
Desirable: Experience/ interest in Bioinformatics as evidenced from Course work, Diploma, publication.
Emoluments per month:
Rs.28,000 + HRA for professional degree holders or candidates having GATE/ NET.
Rs.14,000 for general graduate without NET/ GATE.
3. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Qualification:
Master Degree in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application with minimum 2-years experience.
Desirable: Experience/ interest in Bioinformatics as evidenced from Course work, Diploma, publication.
Emoluments per month:
Rs.25,000 + HRA for professional degree holders or candidates having GATE/ NET.
Rs.12,000 for general graduate without NET/ GATE.
