National Institute of Open Schooling

NIOS is committed to quality school education through open and distance learning mode up to pre-degree level. The institute invites applications from eligible candidates to fill up the following posts.
1. Director (Student Support Services) - 01 Post
Qualification:
i) Second class Mater's degree with 55% marks or B+
ii) 10 years regular service in the scale of Level-11 of the pay matrix or 5 years of regular service in the pay scale of Level-12.
2. Joint Director (Media) - 01 Post
Qualification:
i) Master's Degree preferably in Mass Communication.
ii) Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in the production of Radio Programmes/ Films.
iii) Five years experience in the pay scale of Level-12 of pay matrix or 10 years experience in the pay scale of level-11 of pay matrix or equivalent in planning and executing Media Production.
3. Deputy Director (Accounts) - 01 Post
Qualification:
i) On deputation from IA & AS or various central Government Accounts Services holding analogous posts or posts in the scale of Level-11 of pay matrix with 5 years service in the grade on regular basis or 8 years in the grade of level-10 of pay matrix.
4. Assistant Director (Administration) - 01 Post
Qualification:
i) Second class Bachelor's degree.
ii) 5 years of regular and continuous service in the scale of level-10 of pay matrix or 8 years continuous regular service in the scale of level-7 of pay matrix.
5. Assistant Audit Officer - 01 Post
Qualification:
i) 5 years experience in Accounts/ Audit in a Govt./ Autonomous Organization in the scale of level-6 of pay matrix or 8 years in the pay scale of level-5 of pay matrix.
ii) Working knowledge of computer operations.
6. Assistant Engineer (Civil) - 01 Post
Qualification:
i) Degree in Civil Engineering.
ii) Three years of professional experience in Civil Engineering.
7. Junior Engineer (Electrical) - 01 Post
Qualification:
i) Three years diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Degree in Electrical Engineering.
ii) Three years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering.
8. Assistant - 02 Posts
Qualifications:
i) Senior Secondary (10+2) passed.
ii) Working on computers with a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour.
9. Stenographer - 01 Post
Qualification:
i) Senior Secondary (10+2) passed.
ii) Certificate/ Diploma in Secretarial Practice.
iii) Speed in shorthand in English/ Hindi @ 80 w.p.m. with computer speed of 8000 key depression per hour.
Application Fee:
Demand Draft of Rs.500/- for Unreserved/ OBC category and Rs.150/- for SC/ ST categories in favor of Secretary, National Institute of Open Schooling, payable at Noida.

Last Date:
The last date for receiving application is 30.11.2018. In case of candidates from North Eastern states the last date of receipt of application will be 07.12.2018.
