Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of 13 x districts of Lower Assam (Barpeta, Kokrajhar, Dhubri, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Goalpara, Kamrup (Rural), Kamrup (Metro), Baksa, Nalbari, Udalguri, Darrang & South Salmara Mancachar) w.e.f. 04.02.2019 to 14.02.2019 at 8 Assam Police Ground Abhaypuri, Dist Bongaigaon (Assam).
1. Soldier General Duty
Education: SSLC / Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification i.e. 10+2 and above however minimum 33% in each subject required.
Height- 160 cm and Wieght- 48 kg.
Chest: 77 (+5 CM expansion)
2. Soldier Technical
Educational: 10+2 /Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Height- 157 cm and Wieght- 48 kg.
Chest: 77 (+5 CM expansion).
3. Soldier Nursing Assistant
Education: 10+2 /Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry Biology, and English with Min 50% marks in aggregate and min 40 % in each subject.
Height- 157 cm and Wieght- 48 kg.
Chest: 77 (+5 CM expansion).
4. Soldier Tradesman
Education: 10th /ITI (except for Syce, Mess Keeper and House Keeper who may be 8th pass)
Height- 160 cm and Wieght- 48 kg.
Chest: 77 (+5 CM expansion).
5. Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management
Education: 10+2 /Intermediate exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Should have studied and passed English and Maths /Accounts Book keeping in Class X or Class XII with 50% marks in each subject.
Height- 160 cm and Wieght- 48 kg.
Chest: 77 (+5 CM expansion).
Age Limit:
For SL.1- Minimum 17½ and Maximum 21 years.
For All others- Minimum 17½ and Maximum 23 years.
For All others- Minimum 17½ and Maximum 23 years.
Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 21.11.2018 to 31.12.2018.
Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail from 08.01.2019 to 10.01.2019. Candidates should reach the venue on given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card.
Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
