Applications are invited from Indian citizens for recruitment to the temporary contractual post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) & Technical Assistant in the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Paschim Boragaon, Garchuk, Guwahati-781035.
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - [01 Post]
Qualification: Candidates with M.Sc/M. Pharm degree (with minimum of 55% marks) in Biochemistry/Zoology (Cell & Molecular Biology)/ Pharmaceutical chemistry are eligible to apply. Candidates having research experience on natural products/animal model/cell culture techniques/molecular biology tools will get preference.
Pay: Candidates with NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualification or degree in professional courses, otherwise (candidates without NET/GATE/ BET/ BINC qualification) Rs.12,000/+20% HRA per month.
Age: Age limit is 28 years and will be relaxable for SC/ ST/ Woman candidate as per Govt. rule.
2. Technical Assistant - [04 Posts]
Number of Post: (01 Post) Qualification: M.Sc. in Microbiology.
Number of Post: (02 Posts) Qualification: M.Sc. in organic/natural chemistry/pharmacology/biochemistry.
Number of Post: (01 Post) Qualification- M.Sc. in Plant Molecular Biology/Microbial Biotechnology.
Pay: Rs. 12,000/- per month (with 10% enhancement per annum). No additional allowances such as HRA etc. will be provided.
Age: Age limit is 28 years and will be relaxable for SC/ ST/ Woman candidate as per Govt. rule.
