National Institute of Silchar invites applications in prescribed format from Indian Nationals possessing consistently good academic record and requisite qualifications and experience for the following posts:
1. Deputy Librarian - 01 Post (UR)
Eligibility:
i) Master's Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 points scale or at least 60% of the marks or its equivalent grade of 'B' seven-point scale in the UGC witha good academic record.
ii) Ten years experience as an Assistant University Librarian/ College Librarian/ out of which at least 5 years to be in a post with AGP of 7000.00 or an equivalent post with GP of INR 6600.00.
Desirable: Experience (supported with evidence) of innovative Library service and commitment for computerization.
2. Executive Engineer (CIVIL) - 01 Post (UR)
Eligibility: Officers of the Central PWD/ State Govt.s or similar services/ Semi Govt./ PSU/ Statutory or Autonomous Organization, University/ Institution of national importance etc.
i) Holding analogous post, or
ii) With at least 4 years regular service as Assistant Executive Engineer OR Assistant Engineer in PB-2 with GP of INR 4600/- with regular service of 7 years in the grade and have successfully completed 2 weeks course on Contract law, E-Governance, Building Byelaw, and Building Electrification as per 6th Central pay Commission or equivalent.
Essential Qualification:
i) First class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering ( Civil) or its equivalent Grade in the CGPA / UGC point scale with good academic record from a recognized University/ Institute.
ii) 4 Years’ experience in relevant field as Assistant Executive Engineer (in PB- 3 and GP of INR 5400/-) from CPWD / State PWD or similar organized services / Semi – Govt. / PSU / Statutory or Autonomous organization / Universities / reputed institute or organizations under Central / State Govt.
Desirable:
i) Candidates must have the Knowledge of Computer-aided Design (CAD) and latest Management Technology / other relevant software.
ii) Should have Proven track record of handling projects/ works in reputed organization of relevant magnitude and qualities.
iii) Experience in working with high tension lines, electrical maintenance planning and execution of electrical works or civil engineering, Designing and estimation, construction management etc. , as relevant to the profession.
3. Senior Medical Officer - 01 Post (UR)
Eligibility: Officers of Central / State or similar services/ semi – Govt. / PSU / Statutory or Autonomous Organization, University / Institution of national importance:
i) Holding analogous post or
ii) With at least 5 years regular service in posts in the PB – 3 with GP of INR 5,400.00 as per 6th Central Pay Commission or equivalent.
Essential Qualification: Must have MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State/ Indian Medical Register. OR, Post Graduate qualification, preferably MD, in General medicine from a reputed medical education institute.
Experience: 5 years as Medical Officer in a hospital or dispensary.
4. Medical Officer - 01 Post (UR)
Essential: Must have MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
Desirable: Post Graduate qualification, preferably MD, in General medicine.
Application Procedure:
1. Application fees of Rs. 1,000.00 for General/ OBC candidates & Rs. 500.00 for SC/ST/PWD candidates be paid directly to State Bank of India A/C No. – 10521277057, IFSC Code – SBIN0007061 of Director, NIT Silchar.
2. The application along with the relevant documents (self-attested) & transaction slip for the fees deposited should be sent to the following address “The Registrar, National Institute of Technology Silchar, Silchar, Assam – 788 010”.
3. Persons employed in Government and Semi-Government organizations should submit the application through proper channel with advance copy directly to The Registrar, National Institute of Technology Silchar, Silchar, Assam – 788 010. Those who fail to submit through proper channel should produce NOC at the time of interview.
4. The last date of receipt of application is 30.11.2018 up to 1700 hours.
