A walk-in-interview will be held on 24/12/2018 at the office of the Dean, School of Education, Assam University, Silchar of 13 posts of Guest faculties purely on temporary basis.

1. Chemistry - 02 Posts [UR-1, SC-1]
2. Botany - 02 Posts [UR-1, OBC-1]
3. Mathematics - 02 Posts [UR-1, OBC-1]
4. Physics - 02 Posts [UR-1, ST-1]
5. Zoology - 02 Posts [UR-1, OBC-1]
6. Education - 03 Posts [UR-2, SC-1]
Essential Eligibility:
- Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at Master Degree level in the relevant subject.
- Along with the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/ SET.
Remuneration: Rs.1000/- (one thousand only) per lecture with a ceiling of Rs.25,000 per month.
NOTE: Eligible candidates may attend the walk-in-interview with duly filled in prescribed application form and self-attested copies of all the supporting documents.
