Applications are invited from Indian citizens (Male & Female) for filling up the post of 359 vacancies [Head Constable/GD-19 (Male) & 01 (Female) and Constables/GD-295 (Male) & 44 (Female)] under Sports Quota for the year-2018 in Central Reserve Police Force, Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs.
1. Head Constable (General Duty)
Total Post: 20 [Male-19, Female-& 01]
Essential Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent. (Candidates who don’t possess the essential educational qualification as on 13/01/2019 shall not be eligible and need not apply).
Sports Qualification:
a. Individual Event (National) - Sportsperson of merit who have won any medal in the individual event in National Games/ National Championships Both (Junior & Senior), All India Inter University or any recognized sports meet of National repute.
b. Team Event (National) - The team of sportsperson who have won any medal in National Games/National Championships Both (Junior & Senior), All India Inter University or any recognized sports meet of National repute.
c. Individual/ Team Event (International) - Sportsperson of merit who have represented the Country in any International repute Championship.
2. Constables (General Duty)
Total Post: 339 [Male-295, Female-44]
Essential Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. (Candidates who don’t possess the essential educational qualification as on 13/01/2019 shall not be eligible and need not apply).
Sports Qualification:
a) Sportsperson of merit who have represented a State or the Country in any recognized National repute Games/National Championship Both (Junior & Senior) All India Inter-University or International repute Championship.
b) Sportsperson of merit who have represented their University in All India Inter-University Tournaments.
c) Sportspersons of merit who have represented State School Team in National School Games.
Pay Scale:
a) Head Constable (General Duty) - Level-4 Rs. 25500-81100.
b) Constable (General Duty) - Level-3 Rs. 21700-69100.
Age Limit (as on 13/01/2019):
a) Head Constable (General Duty): 18 to 23 years.
b) Constable (General Duty): 18 to 23 years.
(Relaxable for reserved category).
Application Fee:
- Rs.100/- in the form of Crossed Indian Postal Order/ Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque along with their application in favor of “DIGP, GC CRPF, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi,
- The fee is exempted for all Female candidates and candidates.
Selection Process: Through Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Trail/ Physically Efficiency Test (PET).
Application Sending Address: application in the prescribed proforma duly completed in all respect addressed to “The DIG, Group Centre, CRPF, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi-110072” on or before 13/01/2019.
