Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts in the Principal Seat of the Gauhati High Court.
1. Private Secretary - Stenographer Grade-I
No. of vacancies: 04
Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree from a recognized University with a diploma in Stenography in English with minimum speed of 120 wpm in shorthand and 50 wpm on a computer. Due weightage will be given to Law graduate.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-4, Rs.30,000-1,10,000/-, Grade Pay- Rs.13,300/-
2. Senior Personal Assistant - Stenographer Grade-II
No. of vacancies: 07
Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree from a recognized University with a diploma in Stenography in English with minimum speed of 100 wpm in shorthand and 40 wpm on a computer. Due weightage will be given to Law graduate.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-4, Rs.22,000-87,000/-, Grade Pay- Rs.9,100/-
Age Limit: Category wise upper age limits will be as under-
- General (including OBC/ MOBC) - 44 years
- SC - 49 years
- ST(P) & ST (H) - 49 years
- PWD - 54 years
Application Fee:
Rs.150/- for SC/ ST(P)/ ST(H)
Rs.300/- for all others.
Selection Process:
Stage-1: Stenography Test (Dictation and Transcription) - 90 marks.
Stage-2: Written Examination (Descriptive Type) - 100 marks.
Satge-3: Viva voce/ Interview - 10 marks.
