The ARIAS Society invites applications for the following contractual position under the World Bank-financed Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation Project (APART).
Name of the Post: District Horticulture Coordinator
Total Post: 15
Qualification: Bachelors degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from any recognized university/ Institution. Preference, however, will be given to candidates holding Post-Graduate diploma/ degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture.
Experience: DHC must possess at least four (4) years of professional experience in Horticulture related activities/ Agriculture extension or related activities in any public/ private sector organization.
Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Agricultural Marketing, Agribusiness and Value Chain Development, specifically in the development of market linkages and working experience in the establishment of Agriculture & Horticulture based institutions and operations of marketing enterprises by farmer organizations, agri-entrepreneurs etc.
Computer Skill: The DHC must have experience of using Internet-based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint and other related applications.
Age: 40 years as on 01/01/2019.
Remuneration: Rs. 4.80 Lakh to Rs 6.00 Lakh/Year.
