Applications in prescribed form are invited from the citizen of India for the filling up of the following posts in various teaching and non-teaching post of Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV), Nagaon, Assam:
1. Professor (Teaching Post)
Qualification: An eminent scholar with Ph.D. in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience.
Pay: Consolidated.
Age: Upper age limit as per the Govt. of Assam rules/ norms. Retired Professor or Associate Professor upto the age of 63 years may also apply.
2. Associate Professor (Teaching Post)
Qualification: Good academic record with a Ph. D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines. Master's Degree secured at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed). At least 8 years experience in teaching.
Pay: Consolidated.
Upper age limit as per the Govt. of Assam rules/ norms.
3. Assistant Professor (Teaching Post)
Qualification:
a) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in the subject concerned from an Indian University.
b) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or Ph.D. Degree (under the new regulation of UGC).
Pay: Consolidated.
Upper age limit as per the Govt. of Assam rules/ norms.
4. Assistant Registrar (Non-Teaching Post)
Qualification: Master Degree securing at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade. 5 years of academic experience in educational institutions or an equivalent rank.
Pay scale: Pay band of Rs.30,000/- to Rs.1,10,000/-, + G.P. Rs.13,300/- p.m.
Age limit: Below 38 years.
Application Fee Details: Application fee for both Teaching and Non - Teaching post is Rs. 2000.00 in cash or Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya, payable at SBI, Nagaon Main Branch (Code No.: 00146).
