Educational Qualification For Assam Police SI Communication:
a) B.Sc. (Electronics Science/ IT/ Computer Science) (10+2+3 duration).
OR
b) 3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent with 2 years work experience in the field of Electronics, Telecom, IT or allied environment.
OR
c) 3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent and 2 years additional course/ courses in Telecommunication / IT / Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Physical Standards For Assam Police SI Communication:
A. Height (Minimum):
- UR/ SC / OBC & MOBC: [Male: 162.56 cm] & [Female: 154.94 cm]
- For ST (H)/ ST (P): [Male: 160.02 cm] & [Female: 152.40 cm]
B. Chest (only for men):
- UR/ OBC/ MOBC/ SC/ ST(P): [Normal: 80 cm] & [Expanded: 85 cm]
- For ST (H): [Normal: 78 cm] & [Expanded: 83 cm]
Pay scale: Rs.14000 to 49000 (Pay Band No.2) plus Rs. 8700 Grade pay plus other allowances.
Selection Process: Written Test (OMR Based), Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
