Applications are invited by the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Guwahati for the following posts of Assistant Lecturer cum Assistant Instructor and Teaching Associates.
1. Assistant Lecturer cum Assistant Instructor
Total Post: 06 [Gen-4, OBC-1, ST-1]
Scale of Pay: Pay matrix Rs.35400-112400/-, Level-6
2. Teaching Associates
Total Post: 02 [Gen-2, SC-1]
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Other Qualification:
1) Applicants must possess full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from a Recognized University and full-time Master’s degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management scoring minimum 60% marks in aggregate either in bachelors or master’s degree.
OR
Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration/ Hotel Management after 10+2 from a Recognized University securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate with at least 2 years industry experience.
2) Candidates must be qualified NHTET conducted by NCHMCT with prescribed percentage to qualify for Asst. Lecturer-cum-Assistant Instructor or Teaching Associate, as the case may be. However, the candidate, having a Ph.D. in Hotel Management/ Hospitality topic from a recognized University/ Institute need not to qualify NHTET.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years, (as on 01.01.2019), Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates and as specified for other categories by Govt. of India from time to time.
