Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) invites online applications from Indian citizens for recruitment to the posts of Principal, Assistant Commissioner (Administration), PGTs, Assistant & Computer Operator for the year 2019.
1. Principal - Group-A
Total Post: 25 [UR-12, OBC-7, SC-4, ST-2]
Qualification: Master Degree from recognized university with at least 50% marks. B. Ed or equivalent teaching degree.
Pay Scale: Level -12 (Rs.78800-209200) in the Pay Matrix.
Upper Age limit: Not exceeding 50 years
2. Assistant Commissioner (Administration) - Group-A
Total Post: 03 [UR-1, OBC-1, SC-1, ST-0]
Qualification: Graduate Degree from a recognized University. Holding analogous post on regular basis OR With 8 years service in Level 7 (Rs.44900-142400) in the Pay Matrix.
Scale of Pay: Level -11 (Rs.67700-208700) in the Pay Matrix.
Upper Age Limit: 45 years.
3. Assistant - Group-C
Total Post: 02 [UR-2, OBC-0, SC-0, ST-0]
Qualification: Degree from a recognized University. Knowledge of Computer Operation.
Pay Scale: Level -6 (Rs.35400-112400) in the Pay Matrix.
Upper Age Limit: Between 18 to 30 years.
4. Computer Operator - Group-C
Total Post: 03 [UR-2, OBC-1, SC-0, ST-0]
Qualification: Degree from a recognized Institution/ University. Skill in word-processing & data entry with a one-year Computer Diploma from a recognized Institution.
Pay Scale Level: Level-4 (Rs.25500-81100) in the Pay Matrix.
Upper Age Limit: Between 18 to 30 years.
5. Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) - Group-B
Total Post: 218 [UR-106, OBC-57, SC-37, ST-18]
Subject wise Qualification:
a) Biology: Master Degree in Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Bio-Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/ Bio-Technology/ Molecular Bio/ Plant Physiology provided that applicant had studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
b) Chemistry: Master Degree in Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry.
c) Commerce: Master Degree in Commerce with Accounting/ Cost Accounting/ Financial Accounting as a major subject of study.
d) Economics: Master Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics.
e) Geography: Master degree in Geography.
f) Hindi: Master Degree in Hindi.
g) History: Master Degree in History.
h) Maths: Master Degree in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics.
i) Physics: Master Degree in Physics/ Applied Physics/Electronics Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
j) IT: B.E or B. Tech (Computer Science/ IT).
Pay Scale: Level-8 (Rs.47600-151100) in the Pay Matrix.
Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years.
