Applications are invited for the following posts for projects under Multi Disciplinary Research Unit (MRU), Silchar Medical College& Hospital, Assam for a purely temporary and contractual basis.
1. Research Scientist - II
Total Post: 01
Qualification:
- Post Graduate degree (MD/ DNB) in pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, biochemistry or equivalent.
- MBBS with 8 years R & D Teaching experience pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, biochemistry or equivalent.Or
- Second class M.Sc. + Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Science or equivalent.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.58,900/-
2. Laboratory Technician
Total Post: 02
Qualification:
- 12th pass in Science subjects and 2 years diploma (DMLT) Or 12th in Science subjects with one-year DMLT and one-year required experience as a Lab Technician or two-years field/ laboratory experience.
- B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or its equivalent.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.18,360/-
3. Laboratory Assistant
Total Post: 01
Qualification: 10th/ Matric/ High School/ equivalent with one-year required experience or with certificates of one-year training in laboratory area.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.16,179/-
Terms: Posts are temporary. Appointments will be initially for a period of 6 months and may be extended further based on the tenure of the project & performance of the staff.
Age Limit: 18-45 years.
Selection Procedure: Walk-In-Interview.
