Recruitment rallies will be conducted for selection of candidates for appointment as Driver for 24 number of vacant posts under Special Director General of Police Cum Director, Fire and Emergency Services, Panbazar, Guwahati, Assam.
Name of the Post: Driver
Total Post: 25 [UR-15, OBC/MOBC-7, ST(H)-2]
Educational Qualification: Minimum Educational Qualification will be Class-VIII passed from a recognized Board/ Institution and the applicant must possess a valid driving license for HMV, (Heavy Motor Vehicles) from recognized authority (Assam State only).
Age: Applicant should be between 18 to 25 years of age as on 01-01-2019. (Relaxation of 5 years in case of candidates belonging to special categories like Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes (P) and Schedule Tribe (H) and 3 years in case of OBC/MOBC and in respect of Home Guards who have served for a period of 3 (three) years or more).
Selection Process: The Final Selection will be based on the following Test:
- Driving Test
- Medical Test
- PST
- PET (1.6 KM and Long Jump)
- Document Verification
- Extra Curricular Activities (Including Driving experience)
- Written test
