Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of the vacancies as indicated below in the cadres of Accountant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, Stenographer at Directorate of Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Janata Bhavan.

NOTICE FOR CANCELLATION OF ADVERTISEMENT

In view of the constitution of State Level Recruitment Commission for the recruitment of Class III and Class IV posts, the earlier Advertisement bearing no DITEC. 36/2018/85 dated 7th March, 2019 for various posts under Directorate of Information Technology, Electronics& Communication (DITEC), Assam is hereby cancelled with immediate effect.

1. Accountant

Total Post: 01 (UR)

Qualification: Post-Graduate in Commerce from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum 45% marks, 40% for SC/ST candidates in their degree examination.

Pay Scale: PB-2. 14000-49000, GP-7400

2. Cashier

Total Post: 01 (UR)

Qualification: Graduate in Commerce from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum 45% marks, 40% for SC/ST candidates in their degree examination.

Pay Scale: PB-2. 14000-49000, GP-7400

3. Junior Assistant

Total Post: 05 [UR-3, ST(P)-1, OBC/MOBC-1]

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum 45% marks, 40% for SC/ST candidates in their degree examination.

Pay Scale: PB-2. 14000-49000, GP-6200

4. Stenographer - (Grade-II)

Total Post: 02 [UR-, OBC/MOBC-1]

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum 45% marks, 40% for SC/ST candidates in their degree examination.

Pay Scale: PB-2. 14000-49000, GP-9100

Age Limit (as on 31-03-2019): 18-44 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by five (5) years for ST candidates and is relaxable by three (3) years for OBC/MOBC candidates. The upper age limit for Persons with Disabilities is relaxable by 10 years ( Irrespective of caste).


Mode of Selection:

Phase-I: Objective type Written Test of 80 marks.

Phase-II: 
(a) For Stenographer: a Stenography Proficiency Test and Personal Interview of 10 marks each.
(b) For All Others: Typing Test and Personal Interview of 10 marks each.
