Applications in prescribed forms are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts at Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Guwahati.



1. Assistant Registrar - [01 Post]

Qualification: Masters' Degree with at least 55% marks OR a Ph.D. degree.

Experience: At least 5 years' experience in an administrative position. Must have administrative experience in an educational institution.

Pay Scale: Rs.56100-177500.

Age: Up to 45 years.



2. Junior Assistant - [06 Posts]

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree with computer office applications knowledge. One position requires a B. Com degree.

Pay Scale: Rs.21700-69100.

Age: Up to 30 years.



Contract Period: Appointment will initially be made on contract for a period of three years and are likely to be extended/ regularized based on performance.

Note: Reservations as per Rules. Relaxation of age will be admissible as per Rules.


 General Informations:
  1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  2. Reservation as per GOI rule.
  3. Persons employed in Govt. /Semi Govt. Organizations/ Autonomous Bodies should submit their applications through proper channels.
  4. Degree, as referred above, are those which have been awarded by a recognized University/ Institution.
  5. The Institute will short-list the candidates for written test/ skill test/ interview based on qualification and experience and the number of applications received.
  6. In case of Incomplete applications or application without attested copies of certificates or received after the last date are liable to rejection.
  7. Candidates applying for appointment on deputation/ lien will also be considered provided applications are submitted through proper channels.
  8. It should be noted, that Canvassing in any form/ bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the posts. “INTERIM ENQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED.
