LIC India invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment to the post of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) (Generalist/ IT/ Chartered Accountant/ Actuarial/ Rajbhasha). Candidates should apply through Online mode only.
1. AAO (General)
Total Post: 350 [SC-55, ST-35, OBC-85, EWS-35, UR-140]
Qualification: “Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
2. AAO (IT)
Total Post: 150 [SC-25, ST-14, OBC-36, EWS-15, UR-60]
Qualification: Graduation degree in Engineering in Computer Science, IT or Electronics, or an MCA, or an MSC(Computer Science).
3. AAO (Chartered Accountant)
Total Post: 50 [SC-7, ST-5, OBC-13, EWS-5, UR-20]
Qualification: Bachelor Degree and should have passed Final Examination of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
4. AAO (Actuarial)
Total Post: 30 [SC-4, ST-3, OBC-8, EWS-3, UR-12]
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have compulsorily passed paper CT1 and CT5 plus 4 or more other papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
5. AAO (Rajbhasha)
Total Post: 10 [SC-1, ST-1, OBC-2, EWS-1, UR-5]
Qualification: Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi or English.
Age Limit (as on 01-03-2019):
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Emoluments: Basic pay of Rs. 32795/- per month in the scale of 32795- 1610(14) –55335– 1745(4) –62315 and other admissible allowances as per rules.
Application Fee:
- For All Others: Rs. 600/- + Transaction Charges
- For SC/ ST/ PwBD Candidates: Rs. 100/- + Transaction Charges
- Pay Mode: Through Online by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets
Selection Procedure:
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Objective type questions of 70 marks)
Phase-II: Main Examination (Objective type questions of 300 marks)
Phase-III: Interview.
