Tezpur University Recruitment Details


1. Director (Computer Centre)
No. of Post: 1

Qualification:
A) Master's degree in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology (M. Tech.) / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Computer Application (MCA) having first class or equivalent grade.
AND
B) Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in teaching / research / industry or relevant field

Candidates having —
(i) Ph.D. degree and / or (ii) experience in system administration will be preferred.

Fixed Emolument: Rs. 2,00,000/-

2. Registrar (Administration)
No. of Post: 1 (UR)

Age Limit: Preferably below 57 years

Qualification:
1) A Master’s degree with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
2) At least fifteen (15) years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 (Pre-revised PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus AGP of Rs. 7,000/-) and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level 12 (Pre-revised PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus AGP of Rs. 8,000/-) and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.
Or
Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education
Or
Fifteen (15) years of administrative experience, of which eight (08) years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

3. Internal Audit Officer (on Deputation) (Administration)
No. of Post: 1 (UR)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years

Qualification:
Officers belonging to Audit and Accounts Services or other similar organized Accounts Services in Central / State Govt., holding analogous posts on regular basis.
OR
With three (03) years regular service in Level-11 or equivalent in the area of Audit and Accounts in any Govt. Department / Autonomous Bodies.
OR
With five (05) years regular service in Level-10 or equivalent in the area of Audit and Accounts in any Govt. Department / Autonomous Bodies.

4. Deputy Registrar (Administration)
No. of Post: 1 (UR)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years

Qualification:
i) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
ii) Five (05) years of experience as Assistant Registrar or in equivalent post in the Pay Level-10 and above.

5. Assistant Registrar (Administration)
No. of Post: 4 [UR-3, OBC-1]

Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years

Qualification: Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.

6. Assistant (Administration)
No. of Post: 1 (UR)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years

Qualification: 
i) A Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline from any recognized institute / University.
ii) Three (03) years’ experience as UDC or equivalent in the Level-4 in Central / State Govt. / University / PSU and other Central / State Autonomous Bodies or equivalent pay package in any reputed private companies / bank with annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 Crores or more.
iii) Proficiency in typing, computer application, noting and drafting.

7. Laboratory Assistant (Dept. of Physics)
No. of Post: 1 (OBC)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 32 years

Qualification: 
Bachelor’s degree (in Physics) with minimum two years of working and maintenance experience of sophisticated scientific instruments in the Laboratory.
The experience should be in University / Research Establishment / Central / State Govt. / PSU and other autonomous bodies or Private organization of repute with annual turnover of at least Rs. 200/- Crores or more.

8. Junior Accountant (Administration)
No. of Post: 2 (UR)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 32 years

Qualification: 
i) A Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline from any recognized institute / University.
ii) Two (02) years’ experience as Lower Division Clerk or equivalent posts in University / Research Establishment / Central / State Govt. / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies or equivalent pay package in any reputed private companies / corporate banks with annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 Crores or more.
iii) Speed in English typing @35 WPM or Speed in Hindi typing @30 WPM
iv) Proficiency in computer operations.

9. Upper Division Clerk (Administration)
No. of Post: 1 (UR)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 32 years

Qualification: 
i) A Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline from any recognized institute / University.
ii) Two (02) years’ experience as Lower Division Clerk or equivalent posts in University / Research Establishment / Central / State Govt. / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies or equivalent pay package in any reputed private companies / corporate banks with annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 Crores or more.
iii) Speed in English typing @35 WPM or Speed in Hindi typing @30 WPM
iv) Proficiency in computer operations.

10. Lower Division Clerk (Administration)
No. of Post: 6 [UR-5, OBC-1]

Age Limit: Not exceeding 32 years

Qualification: 
i) A Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline from any recognized institute / University.
ii) Speed in English typing @35 WPM or Speed in Hindi typing @30 WPM (35 WPM and 30 WPM correspond to 10500 KDPH / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each work).
iii) Proficiency in computer operations.

11. Multi-Tasking Staff (Administration)
No. of Post: 5 [EWS-2, OBC-3]

Age Limit: Not exceeding 32 years

Qualification: 10th pass from a recognized Board OR ITI pass.

➢ For Director (Computer Centre): Nil

➢ For All Other Posts: A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for the post of Registrar and 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for the other posts. SC/ST/PWD categories are exempted.

Napaam, Dist. Sonitpur, PIN-784028, Assam, so as to reach on or before the last date. The envelope containing the application (one envelope should contain only one application) should be superscribed as:

"Application against Advt. No. 06 / 2024 for the post of Director (Computer Centre)"

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online by visiting the recruitment portal of Tezpur University (https://tezunt.samarth.edu.in)

After submission of the ONLINE application in the portal, a duly signed hard copy (pdf) of the completed application(s) must be submitted to "The Registrar, Tezpur-784028, Assam", along with all necessary enclosures including the proof of submission of application fee and "No Objection Certificate (NOC)", wherever applicable, latest by the last date
