Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Secretariat, Diphu has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 13 vacancy of Forest Ranger, Liaison Officer, Estate Officer, Tourist Information Officer, Assistant Academic Officer and Junior Academic Officer posts. Intending and eligible candidates who are permamnent resident of Karbi Anglong may apply for these vacancies.

KAAC Secretariat Recruitment Details:


1. Forest Ranger (Council) Sector
No. of Post: 6

Qualification: B. Sc or Engineering from any recognized University with atleast one of the following subjects: Botany Zoology/ Forestry/AgricuIture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary Science/ Physics, Mathematic/ Computer Application/ Environmental Science/ Geology/ Statistic/ Engineer/ Agriculture/ Chemical/ Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ El ectronic/ Mechanicals). 

Scale of Pay: Pay Band (PB-2) @ Rs.22,000-87000/- and Grade Pay of Rs. 10,300 /- p.m plus other allowances as admissible under rules.

Age: Must not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01-01-2022 (Relaxable for SC/ST as per existing rules)


2. Liaison Officers
No. of Post: 3

Qualification: Graduate in Arts/ Science / Commerce from any recognized University. 

Scale of Pay: Pay Band (PB-3) @ Rs.22,000-87000/- and Grade Pay of Rs.10,900/- p.m plus other allowances as admissible under rules.

Age: Must not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01-01-2022 (Relaxable for SC/ST as per existing rules). 


3. Estate Officer
No. of Post: 1

Qualification: Graduate in Arts/ Science / Commerce from any recognized University. 

Scale of Pay: Pay Band (PB-3) @ Rs. 22,000-87000/- and Grade Pay of Rs.9,700/- p.m plus other allowances as admissible under rules.

Age: Must not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01-01-2022 (Relaxable for SC/ST as per existing rules).


4. Tourist Information Officer
No. of Post: 1

Qualification: Graduate in Art, Science or Commerce from any recognized University by the Govt. or a 2 (Two) years Post Graduate Degree or a 3 (three) year Diploma in Tourism and Travel Management from an Institute recognized/ approved by Govt. of India/ Govt. of Assam. 

Scale of Pay: Pay Band (PB-2) @ Rs.22000-87000/- and Grade Pay of Rs.9,100/- p.m plus other allowances as admissible under rules.

Age: Must not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01-01-2022 (Relaxable for SC/ST as per existing rules).


5. Assistant Academic Officer
No. of Post: 1

Qualification: M.A or M.Sc with B.Ed from recognized Institute. 

Language Proficiency: Proficiency in speaking and writing in English/ Karbi/ Assamese language.
Experience: Teaching experience atleast 3 (three) years. 

Scale of Pay: Pay Band (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000-49000/- and Grade Pay of Rs.8,700/- p.m plus other allowances as admissible under rules. 

Age: Must not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01-01-2022 (Relaxable for SC/ST as per existing rules). 


6. Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
No. of Post: 1

Qualification: 3 (three) years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any Institute recognized by AICTE. 

Scale of Pay: Pay Band (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000-49000/- and Grade Pay of Rs.8.700/- p.m plus other allowances as admissible under rules. 

Age: Must not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01-01-2022 (Relaxable for SC/ST as per existing rules).


 Residentship:  The candidate must be permanent resident of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council areas comprising of Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong district.


How to Apply for KAAC Secretariat Recruitment:


Duly filled up application in Standard Form must be addressed to the Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel KAAC, Diphu along with Council money receipt of Rs.20.00 only in case of General category and Rs.10.00 only in case of SC/ST candidates.

Required Documents: Self attested copies of all certificates in support of the following must be submitted along with the application farm:

(i) Education qualification.
(ii) Age proof.
(iii) Caste certificate.
(iv) Current Employment exchange registration.
(v) 1 (one) Passport photocopy.
