Eligibility Criteria of Dibrugarh University PG Admission
Lateral entry to Fourth Year (7th Semester) of FYIPGP:
Candidates must successfully completed 6th semester of FYUG/ Integrated PG Programme under NEP 2020 with minimum 60 credits in the subject applied for admission.
Master of Arts (MA) Courses:
• Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.
OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Master of Commerce (MCom) Courses:
• Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Speciality/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.
OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Master of Science (MSc) Courses:
• Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.
OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Note:
Candidates who have appeared or are appearing in the 6th Semester Examination of the FYUGP/Integrated PG Programme under NEP 2020 in 2026 and are awaiting their results are also eligible to appear in DUAT 2026. However, such candidates must submit their final grade sheet/mark sheet within the stipulated deadline to be notified by the University.

DUAT 2026 Exam Details
Name of exam: Dibrugarh University Admission Test (DUAT) 2026
Date of exam: 29th & 30th June 2026
Max marks: 100 marks (For Mathematics, maximum marks is 150)
Duration of exam: 2 hours
Type of exam: OMR Based Written Test
Type of exam: Objective type multiple choice questions
No of questions: 100 questions
Medium of question paper: Question paper shall be in English excluding the language subjects
Negative marking: 0.25 will be deducted for incorrect response to a question (For Mathematics, it is 0.50)

DUAT 2026 Application Fee
The applicants shall be required to pay the Application Fee of Rs. 1050/- (Rupees One Thousand Fifty Only) only through the online payment gateway by using Debit (ATM) Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking during the submission of form. No other mode of payment is accepted.
How to Apply for Dibrugarh University (DU) PG Admission ?
Application for appearing in the Dibrugarh University Admission Test (DUAT) 2026 shall be through online mode only. The candidate shall be required to visit the DUAT 2026 Portal in the website- www.dibru.ac.in to apply online.
