Eligibility Criteria of TISS Recruitment:

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Post graduate in any Social Work, Public Health, and other allied Social Sciences.

• Minimum 5 years experience in developmental sector and preferably at least 1 year in HIV/AIDS prevention programme.

• Community members with minimum qualification of graduation in Social Sciences and at least 2 years of experience in HIV/AIDS prevention programme are also eligible to apply.

• For Finance evaluators the minimum qualification is a post graduate degree in Commerce or an experience in auditing with a CA firm. SACS internal auditors should not be engaged in TI evaluation due to possible conflict of interest.

• Preference shall be given to candidates, who have prior experience evaluating development

programmes.

• Sensitive towards issues relating to HRG communities and PLHIVs.

• Willing to undertake extensive field visits to intervention sites.

• Well versed in reporting and documentation.

• Conversant in local language in addition to English.

• She/he shall have experience in conducting FGDs/IDIs with HRGs and Bridge population.

• Evaluators should not be currently associated with any TI projects/development partners who are supporting NACP both at National and State level.

Educational Qualification:

1. The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode;

2. An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted;

4. The Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal;

4. The Candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.

The fulfillment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or the Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned.

Note: NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.

The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following:

i. Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)

ii. the Times Higher Education (THE) or

iii. the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
