Know How to Check Your Name in NRC by Online or SMS: NRC 2nd Draft List, Assam 2018

Release Date of Second Draft NRC Assam:

We know that the First Part Draft of National Registration of Citizen (NRC) was released on 31st December 2017 at midnight 12 AM. After publication of the First Part Draft, a verification process start for those people whose name were left out on this draft. As per latest updates, Supreme Court ordered NRC & Assam Govt to complete the verification process soon and given a new date to published the Second Draft List on July 30, 2018.

This Second Draft is also called Final Draft or Complete Draft but it is not Final NRC. After publication of this Second Draft/ Final Draft, another process will start called "Claims and Objections" for those people whose name were not included in this draft list. In this process, people get a chance to claim for include their name in final NRC.

Method To Check Your Name In Second Draft List Of NRC:

1. Online Method: Check your name in Second Draft List of  National Registration of Citizen (NRC) by using Application Receipt Number (ARN) in any one of the websites given below:

• www.nrcassam.nic.in (Official)
• www.assam.mygov.in
• www.assam.gov.in
• nrcassamonline.net

2. Get Result via SMS on Mobile: Citizens can check their name in Second Draft List of NRC by SMS service. Example:

• Type ARN <space> <xxxx 21 digit of ARNxxxx>
• And send to 09765556555 or 9108464450 or 9108464438

3. Get Result by Calling Toll-Free Helpline Number: Citizens can get their result of Second Draft List of NRC by dialing 15107 from Assam State and 18003453762 from outside of Assam.

4. Get Result Offline via Nearest NRC Seva Kendra (NSK): You can also check your name in NRC second draft list from the printed draft list by visiting your nearest NRC Seva Kendra (NSK) or Gaon Panchayat with acknowledgment slip or Application Receipt Number (ARN).
