Online applications are invited from Indian nationals for direct recruitment to the post of Security Assistant (Executive) in the Intelligence Bureaux, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.

Name of the Posts: Security Assistant/ Executive

Total Posts: 1054 [UR-620, OBC-187, SC-160, ST-87]

Qualification:

a) Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent.

b) Knowledge of local language.

Desirable: Field experience in Intelligence work.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 27 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST and 3 years for OBC applicants).

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2000 (PB-1)

Examination Fee: Rs 50/- only male candidates belonging to General and OBC category are required to pay the fee. All SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen & female candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.

Mode of Payment: The examination fee can be paid offline or online.

Scheme of Examination:

Tier-I: Written Exam of Objective type MCQs, divided into 4 parts i.e. General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical ability, and English language. Total Marks 100. Duration 2 hours.

Tier-II: Descriptive type question. Translation of a passage of 500 words from local language/ dialect to English and vice-versa. Total 40 marks. Duration 1 hour.

Tier-III: Interview/ Personality test (Spoken ability) of 10 marks.
