Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force

Applications (in online mode) are invited from eligible Indian citizens (Male & Female) for filling up 218 nos. of vacancies of Constable (Telecom) in Group 'C' on temporary basis likely to be made permanent in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force.
Name of the Post: Constable (Telecom)
Total Vacancy: 218 [Male- 185, Female-33]
Essential Qualification: Matriculation (Class 10th) pass.
Desirable: Diploma or Certificate Course from an Industrial Training Institute or any other recognized Institution.
Age Limit: Between 18 to 23 years as on 27.11.2018. Age relaxation is permissible by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Pay Scale: Level 3 in the Pay Matrix. Rs. 21,700 - 69100 (as per 7th CPC)
Application Fee: Male candidates belonging to General or OBC category should pay Rs. 100/- through online payment gateway system on www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. Fees are exempted for females, Ex-servicemen, and candidates belonging to SC/ ST category.
Selection Process:
Phase-I:
a)Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
For Male:
i) 1.6 Kms Race, to be completed within 7.30 minutes.
ii) Long Jump of 11 feet (03 chances)
iii) High Jump 3 & half feet (03 chances)
For Female:
i) 800 Metre Race, to be completed within 4.45 minutes.
ii) Long Jump of 09 feet (03 chances)
iii) High Jump 3 feet (03 chances)
b) Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify the PET will be screened for Height, Chest and Weight measurements.
Phase-II: Written Test: Candidates who qualify PET & PST will have to appear in written examination. There will be 100 objective type questions and total marks will be 100.
Phase-III: Verification of original documents and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
