Tezpur University invites applications (through online only) from eligible candidates for the post of Finance Officer.

Qualification:
1. A Master's degree with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
2. Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre 1 department.
OR
At least fifteen (15) years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 (Pre-revised PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus AGP of Rs. 7,000/-) and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level 12 (Pre-revised PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus AGP of Rs. 8,000/-) and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and 1 or other institutions of higher education.
OR
Fifteen (15) years of administrative experience, of which eight (08) years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in Level 12 with Rationalised Entry Pay of Rs. 78,8001- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Pre-revised PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus GP of Rs. 7,600/-).
NOTE: The requirement of 55% of marks shall not be insisted upon for candidates. who are already in the University system, but the minimum marks required in such cases shall be at least 50% of marks or equivalent grade.
Salary: Level 14 with Rationalised Entry Pay of Rs. 1,44,200/- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Pre-revised PB-4: Rs. 37,400-67,000/- plus GP of Rs. 10,000/-).
Age Limit: The candidates should not be more than 57 years of age on the last date of closing of applications.
Tenure of Engagement: The position is a tenure post for a period of five (05) years from the date of joining. The age of superannuation for the post is sixty-two (62) years.
Application Fee: The application fee of Rs. 1,000.00 (Rs. 500.00 for SC, ST, PWD) (should pay through Demand Draft, in favor of Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur.

The envelope containing the application should be superscribed "Application for the post of Finance Officer".
