Applications are invited from eligible candidates having Scout/ Guide quota for fill up 2 posts in Level-2 (GP 1900) and 10 posts in Level-1 (GP 1800) for the year 2018-19.
Name of the Post: Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2018-19 (Group C and Group D posts)
Total Post: 12 [Level-1: 10 posts and Level-2: 02 posts]
Educational Qualification for (GP 1900) Level-2--->
1. 12th (+2 stages) or its equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks. [It should be noted that the 50% marks are not to be insisted upon in case of ST/SC/Ex-Servicemen and where candidate possess qualifications higher than HSC, such as Graduation/ Post Graduation].
2. Typewriting Proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English and 25 w.p.m. in Hindi is necessary for considering to the post of Junior Clerk cum Typist/ Accounts Clerk cum Typist, based upon vacancy.
3. Should pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and having ITI certificate for the posts of Artisans in Technical Categories.
Educational Qualification for (GP 1800) Level-1--->
1. Applicants should 10th pass from a recognized Board with National Apprenticeship certificate granted by NCVT or 10th pass from a recognized Board with ITI for appointment in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, and S&T departments.
2. 10th pass or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board for appointment in other departments.
Scout & Guide Qualification:
a) Must be a President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
b) The candidate should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 (five) years. The ‘Certificate of Activeness’ as per Annexure.
c) The applicant should have attended two events at the National Level OR All Indian Railways level AND two events at State level.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2019) :
a) For (GP 1900) Level-2: UR: 18 to 30 years, OBC: 18 to 33 years, SC/ST: 18 to 35 years.
a) For (GP 1800) Level-1: UR: 18 to 33 years, OBC: 18 to 36 years, SC/ST: 18 to 38 years.
Pay Scale:
a) Grade Pay: 1900, Level-2 of Pay Matrix as per 7th Pay Commission.
b) Grade Pay: 1800, Level-1 of Pay Matrix as per 7th Pay Commission.
Examination Fee:
a) Rs. 500/- for General & OBC candidates.
b) Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ ExS/ PwD/ Women, Minorities and Economic Backward classes.
c) The IPO should be drawn in favour of FA&CAO/NF Railway, and payable at Maligaon Post Office, Guwahati-781011.
