Online applications are invited from eligible (male & female) candidates for recruitment of Constable (Ancillary) in different trades in Railway Protection Force (RPF) of various Zones of Indian Railways and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF).

Trade wise vacancies are as follows:
1. Water carrier: 452 Posts
2. Safaiwala: 199 Posts
3. Washerman: 49 Posts
4. Barber: 49 Posts
5. Mali: 7 Posts
6.Tailor Grade-III: 20 Posts
Cobbler Grade-III: 22 Posts
Educational Qualification: SSLC/ Matric from a recognized Board.
Scale of Pay:
a) Water Carrier, Safaiwala, Washerman, Barber, and Gardener: Level 3 of 7th CPC pay matrix with initial pay of Rs.21,700/- and other allowances admissible at that time.
b) Tailor & Cobbler: Level 2 of 7th CPC pay matrix with initial pay of Rs.19,900/- and other allowances admissible at that time.
Age (as on 1st January 2019): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years.
Upper age relaxation will be permissible 5-years for SC/ST candidates and 3-years for OBC(NCL).
Examination Fee:
Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ ExS/ Female/ Minorities/ Economically backward class.
Rs.500/- for all other candidates.
Fee Payment Mode: Online.
Recruitment Process:
Phase-I : Computer Based Test (CBT)
Phase-II : Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
Phase-III : Trade Test (TT)
Phase-IV : Document Verification.
Important Dates:
1. Start of Online Registration: 10:00 hrs on 01.01.2019
2. Closing of Online Registration: 23:59 hrs on 30/01/2019
3. Tentative Date of Computer Based Test: February & March 2019.
