MHRB Assam Recruitment Details
1. Medical Officer (Ayur)
No of Posts: 101 [UR-48, STP-17, STH-8, OBC?MOBC-21, SC-07]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000/- - 1,10,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/-.
2. Medical Officer (Ayurvedic) (In-charge of State Ayurvedic Pharmacy)
No. of Post: 1 (UR)
Scale of Pay: Pay band-4, Rs.30,000/- to Rs.1,10,000/- with grade pay Rs.12,700/-
3. Casualty Officer
No. of Post: 1 (UR)
Scale of Pay: Pay band-4, Rs.30,000/- to Rs.1,10,000/- with grade pay Rs.12,700/-
Eligibility Criteria of MHRB Assam Recruitment
Age: A candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2023. The upper age limit s relaxable by (if applicable) -
i. 5 years for SC/ST candidates i.e. upto 43 years
ii. 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates .e. upto 44 years.
iii. For Persons with Disabilities (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates.
Educational Qualification:
❖ Medical Officer (Ayur):
a. Essential Qualification: A Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine under the act.
b. Requirement: A valid registration with the Assam State Council of Indian Medicine or a valid Central.
OR
National Registration Certificate issued by Central Council of Indian Medicine or National Commission
for Indian System of Medicine.
❖ Medical Officer (Ayurvedic) & Casualty Officer:
A bachelor degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) under the act.
Requirement: A valid registration with the Assam State Council of Indian Medicine or a valid Central or National Registration Certificate issued by Central council of Indian system of Medicine or National Commission for Indian System of Medicine.
Application Fee of MHRB Assam Recruitment 2023
Application must be accompanied with required application fee of Rs. 250/- (rupees two hundred fifty) only for General category candidates and Rs. 150/- (rupees one hundred fifty) only for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) candidate.
No application fee is required for candidates having PWD certificate.
Application fee should be deposited only, through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “0210-Medical and Public Health-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt”. The fees are not refundable and no other mode of deposit of fee other than through Treasury Challan, shall be accepted.
OR
Fees can be deposited online using Government Receipt Accounting System-GRAS (Website: https://assamegras.gov.in). Candidates may pay the requisites fees (as admissible for the category mentioned above). Printed copy of Treasury Challan generated through GRAS should be submitted along with the application form. In Remarks column, candidate may write the post applied for.

a) To apply online visit https://nhm.assam.gov.in -> Recruitment -> Medical and Health Recruitment Board, Assam.
b) Candidates must use their mobile number and password to login.
c) After that, candidates can fill up the form for that given post.
d) Once you have submitted the form, no further changes will be applicable.
