Guwahati Refinery, Noonmati invites applications from candidates who have successfully completed their Apprenticeship Training from Guwahati Refinery in the relevant trade/ discipline under Apprentices Act,1961/Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973 for the following posts in the non-executive cadre.
1. Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production)
Total Post: 21 [UR-8, SC-2 ST-2 OBC-9]
Qualification: Three (03 years Diploma in Chemical/ Refinery & Petrochemical Engg. or B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General, OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC, ST candidates against reserved positions.
Experience:
(a) Trade Apprentice – Attendant Operator (CP)
(b) Technician Apprentice – Chemical
2. Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical)
Total Post: 21 [UR-3, SC-0 ST-0 OBC-1]
Qualification: Three (03) years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade with Pass class.
Experience:
(a) Trade Apprentice - Fitter
(b) Technician Apprentice – Instrumentation
Pay Scale: Rs 11900-32000/- (Pre-revised).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum age shall be 26 years for candidates against unreserved posts. Relaxation will be given to reserved categories.
Date of reckoning Eligibility criteria: The date for the purpose of possession of qualification, age and experience criteria shall be 31.01.2019.
Selection Process: The Process of Selection will comprise Written Test and a Skill/ Proficiency/ Physical Test which will be of qualifying nature.
The Written Test & SSPT for the above-mentioned posts is likely to be held from 07.02.2019 to 13.02.2019.
