Applications are invited from Indian Citizens (Male & Female) for appointment to Group 'A' post of Super Specialist Medical Officers, Specialist Medical Officers and Medical Officers in Central Armed Police Forces (ITBP, CRPF, BSF, SSB & Assam Rifles), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

1. Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command)

Total Post: 04

Qualification: 

• A Graduate degree in Medicine (M.B.B.S.) or equivalent. 
• Should be enrolled in any State Medical Register. 
• Should have completed compulsory rotatory internship. 
• Should also possess PG Degree or Diploma in relevant field. 
• Should possess Doctorate of Medicine (DM) or Magister Chirurgie (M.Ch.) or equivalent with 3 years experience the concerned field.

Age Limit: Not be exceeding 50-years as on the closing date of receipt of application. Relaxation in age as per govt. rule.



2. Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant)

Total Post: 175

Qualification: 

• Essential to have a recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines. 
• Completion of compulsory rotating internship. 
• Should also possess Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in the concerned specialty.

Age Limit: Not be exceeding 40-years as on the closing date of receipt of application. Relaxation in age as per govt. rule.

3. Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant)

Total Post: 317

Qualification: A recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines. (It should be noted that those Candidates who are undergoing the rotating internship shall be eligible to apply and appear for the interview).

Age Limit: Not be exceeding 30-years as on the closing date of receipt of application. Relaxation in age as per govt. rule.
