Nominations are invited from eligible and willing officials for the posts of Sub-Inspectors on Deputation basis in the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

1. Inspector - [26 Posts]

Eligibility Criteria:

A. The officers of the central Govt. or State Govt. or Union Territories:

1. Should be Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. or
2. With five (05) years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- in the parent cadre or department.

B. Possessing the following educational qualifications and experiences:

1. Bachelor degree in any discipline.
2. Essential to have 2-years experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or Training in counter-terrorism.

Pay Scale: Level-7 in pay Matrix. (pre-revised PB-2, Rs.9300-34800 with GP- Rs.4600.

Place of Posting: Guwahati, Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Jammu and Raipur.

2. Sub Inspector - [36 Posts]

Eligibility Criteria:

A. The officers of the central Govt. or State Govt. or Union Territories:

1. Should be Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. or
2. With six (06) years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- in the parent cadre or department.

B. Possessing the following educational qualifications and experiences:

1. Bachelor degree in any discipline.
2. Essential to have 2-years experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or Training in counter-terrorism.

Pay Scale: Level-6 in pay Matrix. (pre-revised PB-2, Rs.35400-112400 with GP- Rs.4200.

Place of Posting: Guwahati, Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Jammu and Raipur.
