The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff  (MTS) in a General Central Service Group "C" Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in different States/ Union Territories.

SSC MTS 2019 Recruitment Details:

Name of the Post: Multi Tasking Staff  (MTS)

Total Vacancy: Vacancies will be determined in due course. Updated vacancies will be uploaded on the official website of the Commission from time to time.

Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200) + Grade Pay Rs 1800, (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC: Pay Level in Pay Matrix – Level-1)

SSC MTS 2019 - Eligibility:

Nationality/ Citizenship: A candidate must be either:
(a) Citizen of India, or
(b) Subject of Nepal, or
(c) Subject of Bhutan, or

(d) Tibetan refugee who came to India with the intention of permanently settling in India, came before the 01/01/1962,  or

(e) Person of Indian origin, migrated from East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Vietnam and Zaire, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, with the intention of permanently settling in India.

SSC MTS 2019 - Age Limit:

The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:

• 18-25 years as on 01-08-2019 (i.e. not before 02-08-1994 and not later than 01-08-2001).
• 18-27 years as on 01-08-2019 (i.e. not before 02-08-1992 and not later than 01-08-2001).

Relaxation in Upper age limit for different categories are as under:

SSC MTS 2019 - Educational Qualification (As on 01/08/2019):

1. The candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
2. It should be noted that those Candidates who have not yet possess but will acquire the educational qualification and produce documentary evidence from the Board in support thereof as on 01-08-2019 are also eligible.
3. The candidates possessing equivalent educational qualification shall also produce relevant Equivalence Certificate from the concerned authorities at the time of Document Verification. 

SSC MTS 2019 - Application Fee:

1. Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only).
2. Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
3. Fee will be Nil for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) and Female candidates.

SSC MTS 2019 - Scheme of Examination:

The examination will consist of a Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) and a Descriptive Paper (Paper-II).

Paper-I - All questions will be Objective Type, Multiple choice only. The questions will be in English and Hindi language for Part-II, III & IV. For each wrong answer, there will be negative marks (0.25).

Paper-II will be of descriptive type in which the candidate will be required to write a short essay or letter in English or any language included in the VIII Schedule of the Constitution. Paper-II will only be of qualifying nature.

SSC MTS 2019 - Apply Online: 

Candidates are advised to read the instructions given in the Notice of Examination carefully before filling up the online 'One-time Registration Form' and "Application Form". Before applying candidates should keep the following information/ documents ready:

1. Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP).
2. Email ID (to be verified through OTP).
3. Aadhaar Number OR Voter ID Card/ PAN/ Passport/ Driving License/ School/ College ID/ Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private)
4. Matriculation (10th) Examination information i.e the Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing.
5. Upload colour passport size recent photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). Dimension: 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
6. Upload Scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB). Dimension: 4.0 cm (width) x 3.0 cm (height).
7. Disability Certificate Number, (for PWD candidates)

SSC MTS 2019 - Important Dates:

• Online applications Start: 22.04.2019
• Last date for receipt of application: 29.05.2019
• Online fee payment: 31.05.2019 (up to 5.00 PM)
• Offline Challan Generation: 31.05.2019 (up to 5.00 PM)
• Last date for payment through Challan: 01.06.2019
• Computer Based Examination (Tier-I): 02.08.2019 to 06.09.2019
• Date of Tier-II Examination (Descriptive Paper): 17.11.2019
