Applications through Online are invited from eligible candidates for filling up various posts of ministerial staff for Foreigner’s Tribunals under the Govt. of Assam purely on CONTRACTUAL basis for 2 (two) years, subsequently renewable on annual basis with FIXED PAY.
Assam Police Ministerial Staff Recruitment 2019 - Details:
1. UDA cum Accountant
No. of vacancy: 200Educational Qualification: Graduate in Commerce.
Additional Qualification: Six months of Experience in Accounting.
Fixed Pay: Rs.35,000/- pm.
2. Stenographer Grade-III
No. of vacancy: 200Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
Additional Qualification: Preferably Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography from ITI/ Polytechnic/ any Govt. recognized institute.
Fixed Pay: Rs.35,000/- pm.
3. Lower Division Assistant (LDA)
No. of vacancy: 200Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
Additional Qualification: Must have proficiency in operation of computers.
Fixed Pay: Rs.30,000/- pm.
4. Bench Assistant
No. of vacancy: 200Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
Additional Qualification: Must have proficiency in operation of computers.
Fixed Pay: Rs.30,000/- pm.
5. Typist
No. of vacancy: 200Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
Additional Qualification: Must have proficiency in operation of computers.
Fixed Pay: Rs.30,000/- pm.
6. Data Entry Operator
No. of vacancy: 400Educational Qualification: HSSLC passed.
Additional Qualification: Must have proficiency in operation of computers.
Fixed Pay: Rs.10,000/- pm.
7. Copyist
No. of vacancy: 200Educational Qualification: HSSLC passed.
Additional Qualification: Proficiency test in English & Official language of Assam among candidate who qualify in OMR.
Fixed Pay: Rs.9,000/- pm.
8. Office Peon
No. of vacancy: 200Educational Qualification: Class VIII passed.
Additional Qualification: Physical Test
Fixed Pay: Rs.9,000/- pm.
9. Chowkidar
No. of vacancy: 200Educational Qualification: Class VIII passed.
Additional Qualification: Physical Test
Fixed Pay: Rs.9,000/- pm.
Assam Police Recruitment 2019 - Reservation for Posts:
Out of the above posts, the reservation will be as under:
- OBC/ MOBC – 27%
- for SC – 7%
- ST (P) – 10%
- ST (H) – 5%
Upper Age Limit as on Date of advertisement will be as under:
- General: 38 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 41 years
- SC, ST(P) & ST(H): 43
Selection Process:
- Written Test: Common for all posts except Office Peon and Chowkidar
- Practical Test: For Stenographer, Lower Division Assistant, Bench Assistant, Typist, Data Entry Operator & Copyist.
- Physical Efficiency Test & Viva-voce: For the posts of Office Peon and Chowkidar. There will be no written test for the posts of Office Peon and Chowkidar.

Applications must be submitted online through Assam Police or SLPRB website (www.police.assam.gov.in or www.slprbassam.in). No other forms of application will be entertained. Candidates should be required to upload scanned copies of the following documents:
- Passport size photograph
- Signature
- Required Documents
The date and venue for the Test (s) will be intimated in due course of time by email, SMS and various other means and through the Assam Police and SLPRB website.
Application Fee: Nil
Contract Period: For 2 (two) years, subsequently renewable on annual basis.Important Dates:
