The Central Selection Board (CSB), Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Kokrajhar invites application from the eligible candidates for filling up of the SIU approved sanctioned vacant posts of Grade-III (Non-Gazetted) under the Forest Department, BTC.

1. Forester-I

No. of Post: 22

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree in any discipline or equivalent.

Physical Requirement: Height- 163cm for General and 153cm for STP/ STH. Chest Normal- 79cm round, Expanded- 84cm round.

Age limit (as on 31-01-2019): 18-25 years. Relaxable of age for SC/ST is 5 years & OBC is 3 years as per Govt. rules.

Salary: Pay Band-2, Rs.14,000-49,000/- + GP- Rs.6200/-

2. Forest Guard

No. of Post: 70

Qualification: Minimum HS (10+2) or equivalent.

Physical Requirement: Height- 163cm for General and 153cm for STP/ STH. Chest Normal- 79cm round, Expanded- 84cm round.

Age limit (as on 31-01-2019): 18-25 years. Relaxable of age for SC/ST is 5 years & OBC is 3 years as per Govt. rules.

Salary: Pay Band-2, Rs.14,000-49,000/- + GP- Rs.5600/-

Note: Candidates only from BTC area need to apply.

 Application Fee: 

a) Treasury Challan paid to Kokrajhar Treasury Office or IPO for an amount of Rs.150/- for General/ OBC/ MOBC candidates and Rs.100/- for SC/ ST candidates.

b) In case of Treasury challan, the challan must be paid in favor of the Principal Secretary, BTC, Kokrajhar payable at Kokrajhar Treasury Office only under the Head of Account-8443 Civil Deposit, Personal Deposit, BTC.

c) In case of IPO must be paid in favor of the Member Secretary, CSB Kokrajhar payable at Kokrajhar Head Post Office.

 Selection Process:  Examination/ Interview.


 Mode of Examination: 

(a) Physical Fitness Test comprising 26 kms walking to be covered within 4 hours followed by a medical examination will also be conducted for Forester-I and Forest Guard.

(b) Candidates qualifying in the Physical Fitness Test for the post of Forester-I and Forest Guard shall be called for written test. The written test will be 3 hours on General Knowledge, General Mathematics and General English.

(c) Viva-Voce Test
