Applications in prescribed forms are invited from Indian Nationals for the following temporary technical position on contractual basis in the Department of Physics of IIT Guwahati as detailed below:

1. Junior Technical Superintendent

No. of post: 01

Qualifications: B. Tech. or B.E. in either of Mechanical Engg., Civil Engg, Chemical Engg or M.Sc. in either of Chemistry, Biotechnology.

Consolidated Pay: 30,000 per month with OPD medical facility at IIT Guwahati (Self only)

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years on the last date of receipt Application Form.

2. Junior Technician

No. of post: 01

Qualifications: B.Sc. in either of Chemistry, Biotechnology or Diploma in either of Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering.

Consolidated Pay: 20,000 per month with OPD medical facility at IIT Guwahati (Self only)

Age Limit: Maximum 27 years on the last date of receipt Application Form.

Duration of Appointment: 11 months.
